ColorCycle was started in 2009 by Aaron Rasmussen and Justin Hamilton, and was an indie-electro project, aka two friends writing songs together for fun. Later Kori Stanton joined for the EP. The EP, Secret Decoder, was released on audio cassette, where the cover art and all the liner notes were obscured using red/red encoding like you might find in an 80's cereal box toy. All the information could be viewed through the audio cassette's red plastic.
